The weather has been warming up around here and we are loving playing outside. Rush is actually getting a little tan! We took him to the park for the first time and he wasn't so sure about everything!

Drew raced in a 7K and won by several minutes! We were so proud of him!
Our first blooms of spring were the Asiatic Lilies, which are so beautiful and bright! This is what happens when I try to take pictures of Rush just before nap time.

First baby

Tonight our first baby Caesar tried to run away. The garage door was open because Drew was working outside....the wind blew our house door open and Caesar decided to take a stroll alone outside. I thought he was out with Drew and Drew thought he was in with me so we aren't sure how long he was gone. Once we noticed, I grabbed Rush and started driving around the neighborhood and Drew took off on foot. We finally found out one of our sweet neighbors had seen him wandering around and saved him until she found his owners. She had already posted an ad on craigslist.....thank goodness for kind people!! When Drew went to get him he was running around in the back yard with a golden retriever having the best time. She thought he was a little puppy, but he is 4 years old!! We love our Caes so much, I am so glad we have him back at home where he belongs.

Houston weekend

Over Easter weekend, Rush and I got to make a trip to Houston to see Shanda and Sean. It was the first time I have been able to go see their apartment. Drew had to catch up on some work so he was unable to come with us. We had a great time living the city life for a few days!
Rush got one Easter basket from mom and dad......

One Easter basket from Shanda and Sean....and one from GiCi and Papa! Talk about cleaning up....of course his favorite part was the grass.

We went to the park next to Shanda and Sean's apartment for an afternoon stroll.
We ate lots of good food that we can't get here in Amarillo and played with Aunt Shanda.

We went to the Houston zoo since the weather was gorgeous! This huge monkey pried himself off the ground and slowly maneuvered down to the bottom of his climbing area.....then he put his hand out as if to say "tada!" and I caught a picture as he asked for applause (or food?)

Kisses for Aunt Shanda

This was the first time Rush has flown anywhere and I was nervous...but he did GREAT! I was actually amazed at how well all the babies on our flight did. The worst thing about it was hauling all of the baby gear along with us!
We had a fun trip Sean and Shan, we should do it more often.
